How many sessions will I need?
Most clients need 6–8 sessions for permanent reduction. Hair growth cycles vary by area, hormones and hair type — your aesthetician will tailor a plan at your free consult.
How far apart should sessions be?
4–6 weeks apart for face and body — this matches the active growth cycle when laser is most effective. Skipping too long resets the cycle; going too soon wastes a session.
Do I need to shave beforehand?
Yes — shave the treatment area 12–24 hours before your session. If you arrive un-shaved, we offer optional in-clinic shaving prep (Small $5 / Large $15) added to your appointment.
Is laser safe on my skin tone?
Yes — our technology is safe and effective across a wide range of skin tones and hair colours, including deeper skin. Very light or grey/blonde hair responds least. Your consult confirms suitability.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe it as a warm snap. Built-in cooling minimises discomfort, and treatments are quick — underarms take about five minutes, full legs around 45.
Any prep or aftercare?
Avoid sun, waxing, tweezing, retinoids and self-tanner for 1–2 weeks before your session. After: no hot showers, saunas or heavy exercise for 24 hours, and SPF daily on treated areas.
